Errors, Like Straw, Upon The Surface Flow. He That Would Search For Pearls Must Dive Below: A superficial study of things will not reveal their real worth. We cannot learn the value of things by making a cursory examination. A superficial or skin-deep approach is not the answer to get to the real worth.
It is a matter of common observation that ordinary shells are seen lying on the seashore. The best pearls lie in the sea-bed. Hence a seaman who wishes to get the precious pearls, has to dive into the sea. This means that one must be ready to give one’s heart’s blood to get something worthwhile in life; one has to struggle hard against the inhospitable circumstances to reach one’s destination. Constant strife is the essence of life.
Those who have the stamina to put up relentless struggle, after passing over the thorny-path to bleed themselves ultimately get to their cherished goals. The one’s shunning struggle even do not get ordinary shells lying across the seashore. One should thus be fired with the spirit of having a dive into the sea to gather scattered pearls lying deep dark caverns of sea.
